Description
Both of these shawls use a treble based puff stitch, and this is the basis of your texture. If you want to be introduced to this type of stitch then the rectangle shawl would be the one to try. The rectangle shawl is worked length ways and worked down – so if you are new to this stitch you have the opportunity to get used to working the stitch before the more in-depth edging. The edging uses the same stitch but you will be introducing more of the puff stitch to create the shaped edge.
The Semi-circular shawl is great if you love this stitch and you want an enjoyable challenge to work on. Again if you have mastered chains, trebles and the basic puff stitch then you will be able with a little patience and dedication make this lovely shawl. The shawl begins at the straight centre top edge and forms its shape by increases along each row.
You will also need:Â a 4mm crochet hook
